The cases of misconducts and cheating have gone to a new level as the hackers have tempered biometric identity. A month before this incident came out in Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment Exam. Rajasthan Police Headquarters had planned to conduct exam constable recruitment exam online but it was failed due to cheating.

It was found by Special Operations Group (SOG) of the state police on 12th March that a gang is involved in the conducting cheating during the exam. Later on, it was found that people were employing various ways for cheating and hence the entire exam was cancelled.

After this incident, the police department declared to hold the exam through offline mode. Previously, the exam was for 15000 posts. The preparations to conduct the exam have started. The police department will be conducting this exam for 5500 posts. As per the officials they have not received any information about recruiting more constables.

To avoid any further issue, the examination will be conducted offline. The security arrangements would be more stringent and the exam will be done through old pattern of OMR sheets. The officials also said that conducting recruitment exams is a long process which involved coordination at several levels. It becomes very challenging for the administration to re-conduct exams.

Details about the exam that was cancelled
In Rajasthan, online examination for the police recruitments held for the first time in March 2018. It was held on March 7. But on March 12 and 14, cases of computer hacking were reported. Apart from this, there was news of organised racket indulging in cloning of biometric identity. In this case, the accused were highly-skilled IT professionals. For the revised examination schedule, candidates are advised to the Rajasthan Police website.
