Rajasthan is highly excited to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jaipur on 7th July, 2018. The preparations of his visit are on peak. Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje is making all out efforts to make this visit a grand success. Ahead of Prime Minister’s visit, CM along with her Ministers Gulab Chand Kataria, Rajendra Rathore, and Mayor Ashok Lahoti inspected the site and preparations. To facilitate landing of PM in Jaipur, a special helipad is required to be built at the tennis court of Sawai Man Singh Stadium. For this, the government requested Rajasthan High Court. A division bench headed by Justice KS Jhaveri gave the permission to construct a helipad at the stadium.

Instructions given for building helipad
However, Rajasthan High Court also directed the government to cause no damage to the stadium while building the helipad. If any damage is caused to it in building the helipad, the state government needs to restore the stadium. Two choppers of Indian Air Force were seen landing at the stadium on a trial run after seeking approval from the court.

In this visit, PM will address gathering of more than 2 lacs people. In fact, 7,000 beneficiaries of various Central and State government schemes will attend the event. It is also expected that PM Modi will also launch ‘Smart City scheme’ in Jaipur. The event will held at ‘Amrudon Ka Bagh’.
