Intrastate Flights from Jaipur to Bikaner & Heritage sites start at Rs. 2500 and Rs. 3,499 only.

What is the most important factor for a state’s development? Connectivity, because it lays a solid foundation for stable economy. Trade relations, technical implementation and fair distribution of resources revolves around seamless connectivity between cities, villages and states. Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje spent almost 3 years of her tenure in attracting external investments for urbanisation. Her vision of a progressive, economically sound Rajasthan seems to have materialized in the third year of her governance. Whether it’s a farmer residing in remote villages or middle-class families, her economic policies cover the needs of almost every section and class.

Out of all these factors, Raje paid special attention to connectivity as it links villages to modern metropolises, thus, ensuring hassle free transmission of news to villages. Keeping this in mind, she took calculated steps toward intrastate air connectivity.

Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur Connected by Air

Raje’s efforts showed colours as Rajasthan received its first intrastate flights connecting Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. All three cities are important tourist magnets. By linking these cities in a circuit, Raje has ironed out connectivity problems experienced by tourists, especially the business class.

Rajasthan Received Its First International Flight to Singapore

International and inter intrastate airlines were chief sectors targeted by CM in her portfolio. Back in 2014, she had claimed to connect Rajasthan with leading international destinations like Singapore, Sydney etc. and she quickly delivered these promises within two years. Scoot’s no-frill airline Kamascootra took its first flight from Jaipur to Singapore on October 3.

Jaipur Airport Braces for Its First Intrastate Flight to Bikaner

To ensure swift travel between Bikaner, Jaiselmer, Kota and Jaipur, Rajasthan government will soon launch low-fare flights costing just Rs. 2500. The idea is to attract tourists, not only from international countries and neighbouring states, but also from other cities of Rajasthan.

Flights to Historical Cities will Start At Rs, 3,499 Only

Rajasthan is famous for its historical heritage. To cash in tourism potential of state, the government announced 6-day round flights connecting major historical cities in Rajasthan. Supreme Airlines will soon operate its 9-seater Caravan-C 208 B daily, starting at just Rs. 3,499.

4 Airports Pepped Up with Terminals and Runways to Welcome New Flights

Jodhpur, Jaiselmer, Kota and Bikaner received their sparkling new terminal buildings and runways. As of now these airports accommodate charter planes. Jodhpur, on the other hand, has started operating four flights to Delhi and Mumbai. Besides these, the Airport Authority is working on Kishangarh runway. These terminals will commence operations of intrastate flights once the construction work is complete.

Thus, Raje-led BJP government has achieved major milestones in establishing a closely knit air travel circuit for incoming tourists and businessmen. In other words, this has resulted in more finances supplied by tourism and trade. With this, we look forward to other developments in this field.
