After the turmoil that took place in Ramganj, Jaipur, today, the things start moving in the positive direction. The district administration suspended mobile internet services in Jaipur. Today, the administration lifted the ban on mobile internet services from 50 out of 64 police stations.
To maintain the law and order in the city, the decision was taken. The internet services will remain suspended in 14 police stations of the city till September 11, said Divisional Commissioner Rajeshwar Singh in an official order.
On Friday night, a man riding a motorcycle was assaulted by a policeman during routine checking. Later, the protesters gathered at Ramganj police station and pelted stones and resulted in clashes. A mob damaged two dozen vehicles and set ablaze a power sub-station.
