Rajasthan CM has made a recent announcement for the welfare of the children of the state. Basically, this is for creating awareness among people living in the state. While addressing the people on Independence Day from SMS Stadium, she declared that September would be observed as the ‘month of nutrition’. In this month, the awareness would be created in both rural and urban areas.
Raje government launched Annapurna milk scheme recently under which students of Class 1 to 8 of government schools would be given milk thrice a week. But, on 72nd Independence Day program celebration, she announced that from month of September students would be provided milk daily instead of thrice a week. For this new provision, the additional fund of ₹ 203 crore would be allocated.
Further, she announced that who all can get benefit of the scheme. She declared that children falling under the age group of 3-6 years, teenage girls and pregnant women registered with Anganwadi centres would be given milk three days in a week and the government will allocate Rs 100 crore for plan.

There are few more announcements made on I-Day by Chief Minister. For farmers, she announced 2% interest subsidy. It will be given to those who repay loans taken from cooperative banks on time. Lowering of electricity duty for induction furnaces, mild steel re-rolling mills, construction of 94 new school buildings, vocational courses in 185 additional schools of secondary and senior secondary level and mild steel rolling mills from 52 paise to 40 paise per unit were among other announcements.
