SPML Infra, the leading infrastructure development company recently announced that its joint venture with Tata Projects has held three new orders for construction and designing of sewerage systems with stipulation of treated wastewater reuse from the Rajasthan State Government.
In a statement issued by the company, it said, “The orders by Rajasthan Urban Drinking Water Sewerage and Infrastructure Corporation Limited (RUDSICO) for 11 cities in the state are for a total value of Rs 1,275 crore. These projects are envisaged as decentralized sewage treatment projects similar to the ones being proposed under Namami Gange program. The treated wastewater reuse can provide alternative source of water, reduce pollution to ground water sources, improving health and economic productivity.”
