In the Dholpur region of the state, few robbers robbed a bank in broad day light and nobody could do anything.
SP Rajesh Singh said that the three armed assailants entered Bari road branch of Canara Bank and threatened the bank staff and a customer there. They managed to flee with approximately 4 lakh rupees.
The police further said that everything has been recorded in the CCTV footage and they are now examining the same. Police said, “We hope we would soon identify the goons and nab them. “
The incident happened around 11:15 am. A senior police official said, “The third who was not masked went to the cashier Ritu and asked her to hand over all the cash while pointing a gun at him. As soon as the robber got the cash, they snatched away mobile phones of all the employees, manager, the cashier and the customer. They then left by 11.17 pm.”
