Rajasthan Government’s flagship Initiative iStart has enrolled 300 startups in just one month. It’s aimed at fostering innovation, creating jobs, and facilitating investment. The program is intended to nurture entrepreneurship in a way that helps in economic growth and development of the state.
The portal was made live just one month ago and since then it has received registration from 300 startups. These are from various sectors, including fintech, healthcare, tourism, and agriculture. The startups which have the potential to grow will be aided by the industry veterans while the government would provide financial help. As of now, there are almost 600 matured startups and many have received capital from the Rajasthan government.
iStart is a great portal to help startups grow and at the same time provide the aids that are needed by them. It’s a one-stop solution for providing the ease of doing business and availing benefits offered by the Government.

Whether it’s funding or mentoring, the portal takes care of all the needs of a startup. There will be content, workshops, and resources that would help the startups to improve their chances of succeeding. The portal scorecard and assessment report to the startup founders. It’s much like a health check-up which helps them strengthen their business plan and improve the chances of getting funded.
Furthermore, there is a one-month long boot-camp for select startups which would help them refine their product, business plans, and strategies. Also, there is an Investor Connect program that showcases curated startups to the investors, incubators, and accelerators.
