The inclination of people towards government is continuously increasing. The present situation of jobs in the state shows this interest. Rajasthan state assembly has invited applications for only 12 vacancies for class four positions but the assembly administration had received more than 19,000 applications for the same.
Government officials also revealed that many applicants with the salaries ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 also said. On being questioned why they have applied for this job of peons, they told that they want lifelong security.
Qualification needed for the post
Even there is craziness for jobs as the candidates shortlisted for the job are graduates and post graduates. While the maximum educational qualification for this job profile is Class 8. There are more 1,500 applicants have been called for interview per post in Rajasthan Assembly.
According to sources, “The job asked for educational qualification of class eight and most of the applicants who have applied are BA, BCom, BSc, even MA and MCom candidates have applied.”
Process of the interview
For arranging these interviews, Rajasthan assembly staff has planned the things. The interviews for the posts will be held in two shifts. The shifts will be from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm and from 2.00 pm to 5.30 pm. The interview process will be continued till November 28.
Talking about the vacancies, four posts are for general category while remaining eight seats are reserved. To get jobs in Rajasthan Assembly, the applicants are making every possible effort. Even some have approached the ministers too for getting the job.
It is surprising to know that every candidate will be given not more than a minute to be interviewed.
