As told by the Jaipur MET office, monsoon will strike the state of Rajasthan in the last 10 days of June so it did. The people of Rajasthan witnessed some pre-monsoon showers yesterday late in the night and till today morning. Showers continued to lash several districts of the state giving people relief from the scorching heat but not to an extent that was expected. Bundi district recorded the highest 13 cms of rain since yesterday followed by Jaipur with 1mm, Ajmer with 0.5mm and and Dabok with 0.2mm rain. Despite of the rain showers, the western Rajasthan continued boiling. Following were the temperatures that were recorded the highest in the state:
