Mukhyamantri Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan was launched on 27 January, 2016. This yojna was first launched in Jhalwar district. This yojna was started to resolve water issues and making villages self- dependent. Talking about the advantages people availed till now, Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan is bringing change in lives of people. This yojna is proved to be a boom for Rajasthan. Benefits
This yojna has benefitted Dilwara Gram Panchayat. The construction of water stream helped in agriculture as the problem of water scarcity has been resolved now. This yojna has totally transformed the life of farmers in Dilwara of Naseerabad. Even the animal owners have sufficient water for their animals.

District collector Gaurav Goyal said that Mukhyamantri Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan made farmers free from dependability on rains. This would be proved a great effort towards growth of agriculture in the district.
Under Mukhyamantri Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan, surveys have been made in Tilana village to identify problems of water faced by farmers. The report of survey said that there was no storage facility to store rain water. In lack of water storage, rain water earlier got wasted. In fact, this rain water took away fertile soil too which was a big problem.

To fight this issue, a Khadin was built in farm of farmer Guman Singh. The district collector, Mr. Goyal asserted that this Khadin helped in storing rain water which enhanced crop production of the area. He further said that now water level in wells has risen too.

There are several ways this yojana is helping agriculture of Ajmer. Another benefit of this yojna is abundant water is available for farmers now. A pond farm is built in farm of Girdhar Singh at very low cost. As this farm pond store ample of water so Girdhar Singh harvested good crop this year. Along with, Girdhar Singh many other farmers are experiencing good crop.

This yojna also helped in resolving the issue of Lordi village and Daulatpura Grampanchayat. These two places are suffering from mud and garbage. This used to cause trouble in the movement of villagers and made their lives difficult. Due to unavailability of proper drainage of water, this problem aroused. Villagers proposed the building of road which was approved by state government. Many villagers were employed for building the road. This scheme has actually emerged as a blessing for Ajmer’s farmers.
