As per the latest report by Times of India, Jaipur is getting acquainted with the band culture at cafes and restaurants which is already a common practice in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. Until a year ago, the youth used to enjoy the DJ nights on weekends but apparently, they are demanding more live music at eateries.
In the present time, if you step into any café in Weekend, you will get to see bands performing with their instruments. This not only provides a refreshing experience to the guests but also provides a platform for the artists who get to showcase their talent by singing renditions of old songs or even original numbers on foot tapping music. There is nothing better than holding a beer mug in hands while sitting in a rooftop setup and listening to romantic, sweet melodies.

Sourabh Modiani, the co-owner of Beerlicious, a pub in Malviya Nagar, says that they have live band performances from Friday to Sunday where artists are invited from Delhi, Chandigarh, and Jaipur. He also said that until a year ago Jaipur’s nightlife was limited to DJ nights but now people are accepting local artists’ work through live band performances.
Most of these bands include young guys who have fresh songs and music to entertain the guests. While performing, they also interact with the crowd and even spread words about their YouTube channels and other social media accounts so as to gain an audience for their work. It’s a great trend that has not only helped the budding artists present their work to masses but it has also created a refreshing ambiance.
