The most arid sate of the country Rajasthan was recently reported of experiencing temperature as high as 46 degree celsius, rain cools down temperature. The hot waves (loo) blowing in the state made it even more difficult for the residents to move out of their homes during the day time. But, fortunately, dust storm, thunder and later in the day yesterday little rain all over the state brought down the temperature giving the people some relief.
Many districts of the state witnessed a great fall in temperature after the rain. Kota, which was experiencing a temperature around 44 degrees came down to 40.2 degrees yesterday. Also, temperature in Churu came down from 41.8 degrees to 35.3 degrees.
The capital and pink city of Jaipur was comparatively low on temperature. It however came down from 39 degrees to 26.5 in the evening. Bikaner district recorded the lowest temperature of 21.8 after the rainfall.
An official from the weather department said, “Dust storm and thunderstorms, accompanied by rain and squall, are likely to occur at a few places in the state in the next 24 hours. In Jaipur, the maximum and minimum is likely to be around 38 degrees and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.”
