IRB Infra bags Rs 2,100-crore project from NHAI in Rajasthan and Gujarat

IRB Infrastructure Developers, the popular toll road firm, has received a contract from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) worth Rs 2,100 crore for a six-lane project in the states of Rajasthan and Gujarat.

In a company released statement, IRB said, “The Company has emerged as a preferred bidder for the six-lane project from Udaipur to Rajasthan/ Gujarat border on section of NH-8 in Rajasthan and Gujarat.”

“The Rs 2,100 crore project is to be developed on design, built, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) under the National Highways Development Programme (NHDP) phase V. The concession period for the project is 21 years including construction period of 910 days. IRB’s construction order book to stand to around Rs. 10,000 crore, which would be executed in the next four years,” added the statement.
