Kailash Meghwal, the Rajasthan Assembly speaker mingled in the rallying cry of the Supreme Court chief justice for bringing the sense of accountability in the political parties. The political parties are required to keep the promises which they make during election manifesto.
Rajasthan High Court Bar Association arranged a function on the 126th anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and on this occasion, Kailash Meghwal mentioned that it is peak time when political parties should be made responsible for the promises they make to the voters.
J S Khehar, the Supreme Court chief justice mentioned that often the promises made at the time of election are kept unentertained. Manifestos hold not much value than just remaining a piece of paper.
He even recalled the arduous efforts made by freedom fighters and also was communicated about his disillusionment with the ongoing political system. He also talked about the ill practice of selling votes for wine bottles and silver coins.
According to him, population has overrun the development of the country. At the time of population, the country had crowd of over 50 crore which has amplified to 130 crore. Sadly, the infrastructure could not go hand in hand with the increasing population.
Equality has become a myth in the country where people are partitioned on the basis of caste and religions. He spoke about the sheer truth of biasness of caste and gender.
South Rajasthan has this terrible situation with the tribals and he also talked about this grave situation. The tribals of the region will soon fasten their seat belts for the big game.
Mahesh Chandra Sharma, highlighted on the occasion and talked about the contribution of Dr. Ambedkar.
To make a push in the reforms, they need a political strength and also highlighted that the country paid huge price because of the uncertainty at the time of 1989-99 when it was coalition government in power.
