Monsoon is taking another turn in the state of Rajasthan. With heavy lightning and thunderstorm, monsoon has got even stronger in the state. Light to heavy showers continued to lash various districts of Rajasthan during the past week.
MET Department said, “Isolated places in Jodhpur, capital city Jaipur and the lake city Udaipur divisions has received heavy rainfall while light rainfall occurred with thunderstorms in various other areas of Udaipur, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer, Jodhpur, and Bikaner.”
Sumerpur and Erinpura areas of the Pali district reportedly received the highest rainfall measuring up to a maximum of 11 cms, followed by Kathurmar in Alwar which received nine cms of rain.
Dabok region also recorded 56 mm of rainfall while capital city Jaipur and Bikaner received traces, the Met department said.
According to the Met department, heavy rains are expected at isolated places in the state tomorrow.
