Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s second phase of Gaurav Yatra has resumed in Jodhpur Division on August 29. After the stone-pelting incident in Pipar town of Jodhpur, CM Raje throttled her tour with the double power. Raje slammed Congress for dooming the state for 50 years. She said, ’They used to shout ‘Gareebi Hataao’ slogan but they wielded it as a vote bank.’ CM Raje said that Congress neither eliminated poverty from the state nor supported the poor to emerge out of ‘Bimaru condition’. ‘Main inse poochhti hun ki kisne 50 saal tak Pradesh ko kangaal karne ka kaam kiya? Kisne Pradesh ki mahilaaon ko apmanit karne ka kaam kiya?’ CM asked a question from Congress.
CM Raje successfully countered the questions which were asked by the opposition aiming at Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra. She said, ‘Why their PM was silent even after seven days of Delhi’s Nirbhaya case in 2012? Why the whole party kept their mouth shut that time?’

CM Raje revealed the dubious dealing of Congress party, pointwise –
Rape cases: CM Raje asked, ‘Why Nirbhaya case proceeding was dead slow? Why the people of Congress were silent that time?’ CM Raje further said that rape cases have been resolved in the matter of few months after BJP came in power. CM Raje gave an example of Jhalawar rape case and said, ‘Mishap took place in March 2018, our government established POCSO courts in lightning speed and as a result, the culprit got death sentence for the crime within 42 days.’
7 Medical Colleges in 5 Years: Raje slammed Cong for opening just 7 medical colleges in 50 years. ‘On the other hand, the BJP government has established 7 medical colleges in less than 5 years in this tenure.’ CM Raje added.
Woman & Child welfare: CM said, ‘We have various schemes to benefit woman and child development. Annapurna Milk Scheme provides milk for school children along with mid-day meal but Cong government did nothing for women and children.’
50% vacancies for teachers in Cong tenure: CM Raje said that in 2013 there were 50% vacancies for teachers in government schools. ‘We have recruited 68,000 teachers and then the number dropped to 21%, and furthermore we have planned to recruit 86,000 teachers by the end of this year. The vacancy number will further drop to 2%.’ Raje explained.
‘BJP pledges to keep 36 Kaums (tribes) together in the development journey’- CM Raje
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said that BJP doesn’t believe in dividing the nation into castes and religion like Congress. ‘We will all work by keeping 36 kaums (tribes) together. Everyone will be equally benefited by various state government welfare schemes.’
‘Stone-pelting was an insult to 7.5 Cr people of the state’
Raje slammed Congress for plotting stone-pelt on Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra in Pipar on August 25, 2018. She said, ‘Stone-pelters have been identified by the police and the stones were not thrown at me but the 7.5 Crore people of Rajasthan.’ CM Raje thanked people for showing tremendous love and support for Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra. The Gaurav Yatra is expected to cover the entire state by the end of September.
