Five new born children in the JLN Government Hospital in the Ajmer district of the state have died since Saturday night. They were admitted in the neonatal unit of the hospital. Dr. K K Soni, the chief medical and health officer of Ajmer said that the new borns were from different areas of the state like Bhilwara, Pisangan, Beawar, Nasirabad and Merta City and were suffering from premature birth, septicemia or some respiratory problems. He further added, “A committee of three doctors has been formed on Sunday to probe the matter.”
But however, the congress government does not think likewise.Congress Chief in Rajasthan Sachin Pilot has said that this has happened due to the carelessness of the doctros. He has demanded that a proper investigation shall be done and the accussed doctors shall be punished for the same. He has further demanded a high-level inquiry and has also accused the government of trying to cover the matter.
