An inspection was carried out at the women prison ward and women police station of Gandhi Nagar by the Rajasthan State Commission for Women and the facilities were found to be quite plausible. During the inspection on Friday, Chairperson of RSCW Suman Sharma took stock of the situation and applauded the cleanliness of the ward and other facilities for women.
Praising the arrangements at the women prison ward and correction home, she said that skill development training which is being imparted to the inmates is laudable. She further gave suggestions to improve the situation. Similarly, Sharma also visited the women police station at Gandhi Nagar and talked to the staff and complainants.
Here, she pointed out that the complainants need to be forthcoming in putting forward their issues and complaints. Sharma suggested the complainants to communicate with their counselors and open up about the problems.
