Rajasthan, Dholpur by-polls have been conducted when BJP is at its zenith in the nation. The recent legislative assembly elections in four states of the country have manifested the stronger side of BJP. Undoubtedly, they are expecting the replica results in Dholpur elections. But, above the current BJP trend, here we are referring to CM Vasundhara Raje’ stronghold in Dholpur.
BJP Rajasthan members appeared quite confident about these elections as on the name of rival they have Banwari Lal Sharma. In these dubious circumstances, Congress is contemplating hard on the strategies and trying to project it as a win-win situation for them.
Sadly, the elections have lots of ifs and buts on the name of majority as none of the two competitors can speculate on 22 thousand Brahmin voters and 28 thousand Kushwah voters.
For good, the BJP candidate, Mrs. Kushwah has very sober competition in front of her. This is because, despite of wining for some times in Dholpur elections, Banwari lal do not have any considerable development records on his name.
The frailty of Congress was quite apparent when they lacked behind in the candidate selection. Outwardly, they didn’t have any influential face to show off during this interesting battle. In the end, they had to feast on the old wins of Banwari Lal Sharma and give him the ticket.
Where, Dholpur is the fortress of CM Vasundhara Raje, the rival, Banwari Lal Sharma have a history of defeats. This is quite not understandable that, why Congress keeps on giving command to Banwari Lal Sharma and his son. From the year 2003, the Banwari family has lost the elections three times.
If we take a look on the previous elections, BSP candidate collected 49 thousand 892 votes, Congress collected 40 thousand 683 votes and BJP collected 35 thousand and 351 votes.
Seemingly, the upcoming win of BJP in Dholpur elections will surely be an one sided affair.
