The 4-day Collector SP conference kicked off yesterday with tremendous vigour visible on the faces of officials attending the conference.
The conference was chaired by Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje who boosted cops’ confidence in addressing public grievances and issues.
Stop giving Excuses, Optimise Resource Use
CM Raje also asked babus and other officials to stop excuses and start working with the available resources. CM Raje insisted on optimum utilisation of resources. She said that proper utilisation of resources will ensure that issues are resolved at the earliest.

Speed up for timely completion of tasks
CM Raje backed the 3 years of good governance with honesty, hard work and commitment. However, the relentless CM Raje asked officials to look ahead with enhanced vigour and grit. “It is time to further speed up for completion within the time limit and ensure that rest of the promises were kept,” CM Raje asserted.
Being a Good Listener is the key
CM Raje transmitted the importance of being a good listener. Being a good listener her, CM Raje said that being a good orator is not enough. She shed light on the importance of being a good listener.
She also devised ways of strengthening effective communication between government and the Aam Aadmi, so that the district administration, grievance redressal process can be completed expeditiously and effectively.
She said that collaborative efforts of Collectors and officials of various state departments will help solve impending issues in an effective manner.
Young Talent is tech-savvy
CM Raje has successfully identified the importance of youth in the process of state development. She suggested effective ways of utilising youth’s towards sensitive and effective governance.
She asked top officials to identify special talents amongst the youth and use it to the state’s favour.
Think Out of the Box: Raje urged Babus
She said that ideas and strategies must be communicated to the district collectors and other concerned officials so that the state can leverage the idea in a timely manner for maximum results.
CM Raje urged babus to think Out-of-the-box and nurture a mind which has receptive abilities.
The last Collector-SP Conference in November 2016, Chittorgarh, Hanumangarh, Pali, Ajmer and Bhilwara had topped the districts respectively in effective implementation of central and the state government schemes.
Combine novel ideas with past experiences
Raje urged officers to blend novel ideas with past experiences to accomplish maximum results.
At the Collector-SP Conference, CM Raje encouraged other district collectors to follow the footsteps of successful districts to accomplish best results in their respective district. Moreover, Raje is likely to chalk out more goals for the future at the SP collector conference which will continue till June 3.
