Under the speakership of CM Vasundhara Raje, in the cabinet meeting, many crucial decisions were taken. On the main decisions taken during that meeting, medical and health minister, Rajendra Rathore gave the below information.
Below points were discussed in the meet:
- In the stenographer recruitment, the inevitability of passing in both Hindi and English have been ended. Rathore mentioned during the 2010 recruitment session for stenographer, both Hindi and English subjects were kept as mandatory to pass. keeping this issue in mind, Cabinet decided to introduce some amendments in this decision and hence one out of two subjects will be needed to pass.
- During the meet, the cabinet also decided to make some changes in the land-allotment decisions made during the last six months of Gehlot government . Cabinet decided to give permission to three of their land-allotments.
- Cabinet also considered the suggestions received during the recent Resurgent Rajasthan. The suggestions have been accepted and the cabinet has given its sanction to it.
- Cabinet also made changes in the set qualification criteria for computer education. In different recruitments, the candidates from BCA and MCA background will be given consent.
- In Rajasthan state, works related to industrial development works will be enhanced. Also, Rajasthan special investment region act 2016 also received approval in the meeting. Government will introduce the act in the forthcoming budget session.
- During the cabinet meeting, the upcoming bills in the forthcoming assembly session were also considered. Rathore mentioned that, during this budget, government will bring the previous parliament session’s ordinances. This session will expectantly run till April first week and many new bills will be introduced.
- In the 1483 km long Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor, 39 percent part is owned by Rajasthan government. Central government has decided to develop the areas like Bhiwadi, Khushkhera, Nimrana, Jodhpur and Pali-Marwar in the first phase of this corridor. Keeping this in mind, Rajasthan Investment Bill 2016 has been approved. Rajasthan Special Investment Board will be made which will be headed by ministers in charge. Out of 15 members of the board, 13 will be non-official.
