In Rajasthan legislative assembly, budget session has commenced today. As expected the congress party was in high spirits after winning all the three seats in state. It raised the questions over the law and order in the state as well as farmers’ issue. The session is being led with Governor Kalyan Singh’s address in the house.
The session began with accomplishments of BJP’s government including commencement of work of oil refinery in Barmer, setting up of the country’s first skill development university in government sector and construction of toilets. But the speech was interrupted by MLA Hanuman Beniwal and Deputy Leader of the Opposition Ramesh Meena.
Rajasthan Backward Class (reservation of seats in educational institutions in the state and of appointment and posts in services under the state) (amendment) Ordinance-2017 was tabled by the home minister Gulab Chand Kataria. He asked to extend the time period for submission of the report.
The session ended by paying tribute to the deceased politicians.
How did CM Raje prepare for the situation?
CM raje had taken a meeting of the party’s legislative members on Sunday. She considered the bypoll verdict was a warning bell for all of them. She asked them to prepare for election and asked them not to get disappointed. She asked state party president Ashok Parnami and parliamentary affairs minister Rajendra Rathore to prepare for the counter attacks in house.
