Around four people died in an unfortunate incident that happened Thursday morning in a factory in Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan.
“The blast occurred in the explosives factory near Rawatbhata. Four persons were killed. Local police have rushed to the spot,” Prasanna Kumar Khamesra, Superintendent of Police, Chittorgarh told.
One of the directors of a factory were the explosives blasted was later in the day arrested by police.
“Sumer Singh has been arrested and two other directors are absconding,” Additional SP Gopal Singh said.
“A case against them was registered with Bhensroadgarh police station under sections 285 (Negligent conduct with respect to fire or combustible matter) and 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of IPC,” he added.
The blast in the mining explosives factory in Rawatbhata occurred last evening in which four men were killed and two injured.
“Reasons of the blast are not clear yet. A team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) today visited the scene and collected samples and the matter is under investigation to ascertain the causes,” said Singh.
