The Bhinay village of Ajmer district has become the first Wi-fi enabled village of Rajasthan. On The state farmer’s commission chief, Sanwarlal Jat, on his birthday, announced free wi-fi service in the village. He reiterated that Narendra Modi is taking all actions which are prerequisite for a prosperous India, an India which aces all other countries in all realms of development, be it technology or innovation.

This fruitful initiative has been ushered in, under the ambit of ‘Digital India’. Efforts at the state as well as the centre will be integrated to provide comprehensive outputs.

The head of Rajasthan Wi-Fi department, Inaayat Sheikh, Deputy General Manager Gauri Shankar Sharma,Jagdish Dangi, A.C Virendra Naruka. They were joined by a galaxy of toher ministers and sarpanches like Uma Verma, Subhash Verma, Balu Ram Sharma among many others were present at the event.

Sheikh said that all villagers will be provided free Wi-Fi through this initiative.

A total of four Wi-Fi cameras have been installed at the BSNL office and ‘Kovada Bazaar’ to facilitate seamless Wi-Fi service across the village. The installed Wi-Fi cameras will enable all the Bhinay villagers to assess the Wi-Fi service in a hassle-free fashion.

This is how you can connect your device to Wi-Fi:

  • User can turn on the Wi-Fi option.
    • In UC browser, search and select ‘BSNL Wi-Fi’.
  • Login into the Wi-Fi option.
  • Now submit all details along with your e-mail address.
  • You will receive a password from BSNL.
  • Copy and paste it on the password tab.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ button.
  • You are all set to avail free Wi-Fi service.
