Rajasthan government is going to launch Bhamashah techno hub, one of India’s largest startup incubation centre. It will have a capacity to accommodate 700 startups and will boost innovation. The inauguration will be done by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje in July.
The techno hub is spread across an area of more than 1 Lakh square feet and is going to offer world-class infrastructure, advisory support, and funding. It’s a platform that will work towards boosting the start-ups in Rajasthan by offering all facilities under one roof and free of cost.
Besides, the state government has also announced a 500-Crore fund to strengthen the startup ecosystem. These startups will be innovative, knowledge-based and will have the potential of emerging as technology ventures. The department has received more than 350 applications but the department has still not decided as to how these startups will be selected.
The state-of-the-art facilities to be offered in the techno hub include high-speed internet, world-class workspace, video conference rooms, individual and shared offices, and other infrastructure. In addition, there will be on-site mentors to provide guidance and ensure overall growth and promotion of the startup.

Moving on, the hub will also have tinkering labs that will foster curiosity, creativity, and imagination in budding entrepreneurs. These labs will inculcate skills like adaptive learning, computational thinking, and physical computing through DIY (Do It Yourself) mode.
Bhamashah Techno Hub is a part of Rajasthan government’s flagship start-up program iStart. Under this program, around 70 startups in Jaipur, Udaipur, and Kota are being incubated currently. The government is in contact with angel investors, financial institutions, and VCs. The incubated startups also get a chance to showcase their ideas at international industry events.
