Nothing is impossible under the impeccable leadership and vision of CM Raje. The Barmer Refinery project which had remained stalled for last three years has gained momentum in the recent days. Rajasthan government led by CM Raje has formulated proper strategies to ensure completion of the project by October.
The much delayed Barmer Refinery is gifted with lost wings by Vasundhara Raje. The refinery work is all set to commence by October although the express mode of the project has been put before Additional Chief Secretary NC Goyal, who is known for his diligent and indomitable work style.
Consistent monitoring
In addition to maintaining consistent command chain between the principal secretary oil and petroleum (O&P) to the SDO at Balotra, video conferencing on a daily basis will ensure that the project is thoroughly monitored.
Video conferencing which will be held between CM Raje and the Union minister of petroleum, Dharmendra Pradhan will also ensure continuous review of the project, which the government expects to complete at breakneck speed.
Not only this, HPCL officers and other state officers shall form part of the review team of the refinery project.
Lease Deed
The lease deed is being executed in favour of the HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited, the joint venture company formed between HPCL and the state government for the special purpose of advancing this project.
Fast-tracking permission process
In order to be able to lay down crude oil pipeline, Right of Way (ROW) and Right of Use (ROU) ought to be acquired. Officials are already in the process of acquiring these rights. Balotra’s sub-divisional officer (SDO) has been made the nodal officer for accomplishing this task.
“The usual time required to get EC in big projects is 7-8 months, we are aiming to get this completed in 3 months,” Aparna Arora, principal secretary, mines and petroleum told.
Things are being worked out at an unbelievable pace. Clearances like EC which, otherwise takes upto 8 months will be brought by the government within 3 months time.
