Pushkar Tourism will Get a Shot in the Arm as Ajmer Development Authority’s Developmental Program Focuses on Industrialization & Streamlining Traffic System within the City…
This Monday, the members of Ajmer Development Authority (ADA) passed development-centric schemes for Ajmer worth Rs. 555 crores. The budget was proposed for programs that emphasized on infrastructure development and streamlining in-house traffic. Pushkar: the religious and cultural hub of Rajasthan was the main attraction of this meeting. The authorities focused on developing Pushkar as the spiritual and industrial hub—an effort that will boost tourism economy for Rajasthan in the coming days.
- Swastik City Program will Transform the Future of Pushkar
ADA’s Swastik city scheme was launched to improve basic infrastructure of Pushkar. The famous ‘Pushkar Mela’ is a tourist magnet that attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world. Local authorities will attempt to use this to their advantage. They’ve decided to invite other states in this joint endeavor.
As a part of Swastik city program, the authorities will allot a portion of land to other states for developing their personalized tourist centers. The builders will construct a building in ‘Swastik’ shape where different states can build their own statehouses.
- New ‘Spiritual Hub’ for Boosting Tourism Economy
To boost economy through heritage tourism, the ADA will develop a ‘spiritual hub’ at Pushkar. It’ll have ashrams (spiritual centers) where devotees can divulge in religious teachings and philosophies of different religions.
- A Special Tribunal for Litigating Pending Controversies Related to Land
The ADA will appoint a special tribunal that can dispose of litigation pertaining to property disputes in Ajmer and Pushkar. A proposal of this plan will be sent to the state government soon. According to ADA chairman Mr. Shiv Shankar Heda, the final decision of this tribunal can be challenged in the high court. It’ll fall under the jurisdiction of Rajasthan legal system.
- A Separate ‘Industrial Sector’ for Preventing Pollution within the City
To rid the city of pollution and waste, the ADA will develop an industrial area on the outskirts of Pushkar. This hub will contain small and medium scale industries, such as handicraft and cotton weaving. This decision was implemented to introduce new prospects for business and employment in Pushkar.
- Historic Heritage at Ajmer will Be Developed as Tourist Hotspots
Ajmer Development Authorities will identify centers of historical importance in Ajmer. Selected centers will be developed as tourist hotspots. To reduce on-road traffic, the ADA will prepare a new draft for improving road conditions. They’ll also develop new parks and drainage system to beautify city.
Both Pushkar and Ajmer are equally significant for Hindus and Muslims in Rajasthan. The cities will soon emerge as eye-catching, commercial hot spots with sustainable economy and better standards of living, in future.
