Finally after an 11 day strike by the resident doctors of Rajasthan who attached to the seven government medical colleges, they called it off on Thursday. During these 11 years when the doctors were on strike, the medical situations in the hospitals of the state crippled.
Jaipur Association of Resident Doctors vice-president Akash Mathur said “the communication gap between doctors and State Medical and Health Minister Rajendra Rathore had been cleared and the talks were held in a healthy atmosphere.”
Let us tell you the resident doctors were on a strike against the decision to send their answer-books to other States for evaluation. They wanted them to be evaluated in Rajasthan itself. After the strike when the resident doctors were not agreeing on the terms and conditions, the government of the state expelled admissions of 583 doctors. Now the doctors have at last called off the strike.
