Rajasthan has much of a value in the terms of cultural heritage and traditional values. The beautiful cities and rich traditions make his state a completely different world to experience. Therefore, Rajasthan is considered to be one of the hottest tourist destinations in this country. And from now on, in the good governance of Vasundhara Raje and her team, the state’s hot tourist destinations will have easy air connectivity from next week onwards. This step is planned to not only give a boost to the tourism sector of the state but also to facilitate the travel between famous tourist’s cities. Rajasthan’s civil aviation department for this purpose has signed an air services operation agreement with the Supreme Airlines for increasing the air connectivity between various cities of the state. The agreement was signed on Thursday, as per the reports.
Rajasthan’s Director of Civil Aviation Kesari Singh and Supreme Transport Organisation Pvt. Ltd. President and CEO Ammeet K Agarwal has signed an agreement in the presence of Principal Secretary, General Administration Department and Civil Aviation, Pawan Kumar Goyal, as reported by the State Government.
At the early stage, the flights would connect Jaipur to Jodhpur and Udaipur right away from next week onwards. As far as the airfare is concerned, it is fixed at Rs.3,499 per passenger. As per the Civil Aviation Department, the flights would also connect other cities after some time.
As scheduled, Supreme Air Lines would use a 9-seater Sesana Caravan-C 208B plane to operate intra-state flights for a period of six days in a week. These air services would surely benefit locations having religious, tourism, historical and heritage significance as then they could be visited by people in a lesser time.
The records of tourism department say that over 12 to 14 lakh foreign tourists visit Rajasthan every year along with over 2 crores domestic tourists to see its famous forts, palaces, and historical sites.
Rajasthan Government and the tourism industry are of the opinion that starting such airlines would give a boost to the number of tourist arrivals. It would not only be time-saving for the tourist but the journey would also be very relaxing. Many travel agents have a very positive approach towards the agreement. One of the travel agents, Karan Singh said, “Poor air connectivity between cities was affecting tourism arrivals. Now with these services being launched, tourists would certainly come in more numbers and stay more in the state.” This step ensures that CM Vasundhara Raje has a progressive plan for the state of Rajasthan.
