Road Mishap in Rajasthan: In a sad, unfortunate incident that happened last night in the Bhilwara district of the state, 13 people including 3 children and 7 women lost their lives. The police informed that the incident happened late in the night when a tractor-trolley carrying family members collided with a truck. The tractor-trolley with the family members was on its way from Gopalpura village to Badnour when the mishap happened.
Kailash Singh, SHO Badnaur Police Station said, “While 12 of the deceased belongs to a Gurjar family travelling in the trolley, the cleaner of the truck was also killed in the mishap.” He further said, “Those killed were identified as Laxmi, Kamla, Rukma, Lahri, Jepi, Kali, Soni, Devilal, Dinesh, and three children –Ramdev, Madan, Seema, and cleaner Dhanna Singh.” The dead bodies have been handed over to the family members after the postmortem, and the injured have been hospitalised for further treatment.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje expressed her condolence towards the families of the victims and has further directed the officials to provide financial assistance and every possible aid to the injured and their respective families. She shared a message with the fellow citizens through the micro-blogging site twitter about the road safety and safe driving. She tweeted:
