Despite of the weather change in the north-western parts of the country, Rajasthan continues to boils as temperature in the majority of the cities was recorded above 40 degree celsius. Heat waves and blistering sun rays became the reason of death of innocent people in the state. A total of 8 people have died due to heatstroke and more than 320 people are under treatment throughout the state.
Out the 8 who died, 7 belong to city of Jodhpur and one from Jhalore. The rest of the people who under treatment are from different districts like, Chittorgarh, Nagaur, Tonk, Dholpur, Bhilwarta, Churu and Banswara.
Rajendra Rathore, the State Health Minister reviewed the heat coditions in the state with the officials in a meeting and has directed them to make proper arrangements for the outbreak of diseases due to weather changes.
Also, the minister has guided the control room to stay active and alert round the clock and immediately send response team whenever, wherever required.
