Despite controversies involving corrections in the Indian history, Rajasthan University is all set for a giant leap. The RU officers have decided to go digital, in a bid to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Digital India Project.’

The RU, being a large institution with considerable student strength, had limited storage space on campus. Therefore, it was hard for the administration to preserve hard copies of student records and other papers. Now, the university staff has come up with a long-term solution to this problem.

Rajasthan University is going to launch ‘DigiLocker’ or ‘Digitallocker,’ the first fully-digital online server for maintaining student data. With this initiative, the RU students can easily access their degrees, migration certificates, and mark sheets online. The administration took this decision, following a meeting between the officers of National e-Governance division and the newly appointed VC of Rajasthan University Mr. R.K. Kothari.
