Everyone is aware of the fact that the state of Rajasthan is the most arid state and the blistering heat makes it even more difficult for the people of the state to step out during the day time. But the BSF jawan who are posted at various areas along the Rajasthan border for patrolling have no other option but to stay there be it any weather condition. To help them out a new trial is being conducted where a private company is planning to design a special vest for the jawans which would help them beat the heat by keeping them cool for 6 long hours when worn.

BSF DIG, Ravi Gandhi informed that trial of ten such vests is going on in Shahgarh area of the state. He also said, as soon as the trail is completed on a few jawans, the formulated reports would be further sent to the BSF Headquarters. This vest reportedly has 12 pockets which will carry materials that will help cool down the body of the person wearing it for 6 hours.
