The current chief minister of Rajasthan, Smt. Vasundhara Raje and the former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed their condolence and mourned on the saddened dismiss of the popular Bollywood 80 year old playback singer and ghazal maestro Mubarak Begum Shaikh. She was born in the state of Rajasthan and has always brought laurels to the state and the nation.
Vasundhara Raje took it to twitter and posted, “Saddened by the news of passing away of legendary playback singer Mubarak Begum ji. May her soul rest in peace — condolences to the family.”
Whereas former CM, Gehlot said, “Demise of Rajasthan’s Mubarak Begum the legendary playback singer, is a great loss. Her contribution will be remembered forever. May her soul RIP.”
Also, Princess Diya Kumari said, “Demise of Rajasthan’s Mubarak Begum the legendary playback singer, is a great loss. Her contribution will be remembered forever. May her soul RIP.” Princess Diya Kumari belongs to the erstwhile royal family of Jaipur.
