Rajasthan, the state of Rajputanas, has come up with a new concept of cow safari. Undoubtedly, Rajasthan’s love for cows is well known as it is the only state in the country to have a cow ministry. This is one more step of the state towards bovines’ love. With this safari, people will be allowed to interact with the bovines. Know the details about the cow safari.

Details about Cow safari
This facility will be given by state-owned Hingonia Gaushala which is located on the outskirts of Jaipur. This gaushala gives shelter to nearly 15,000 cows. This gaushala will allow people to reside temporarily. It provides stay on machan huts on trees. Here, visitors can watch cows graze, massage them, milk them and clean them. Although the safari is free, there will be charges for the staying there. Under this safari, bullock carts will take people through the muddy terrain and water bodies of the forest area near Gaushala.

Cow safari will be a great experience for those who love cows. People will get information about the native cow breeds and their characteristics. Visitors can interact with almost 30 breeds of desi cows including Tharparkar, Rendi, Gir, Kankrej, Red Sindhi and Rathi etc. Those interested will also be allowed to adopt a cow at the shelter.

The great news is that the safari will begin after Janmashtami. Talking about the further plans of the government, after cow safari, it will start a “bull safari” as it has around 10,000 bulls on the adjoining land.
