On 1st June, Rajasthan government expelled admissions of a total of 583 doctors for PG because of the strike which started on Monday. Around 4000 doctors are one strike from 7 different medical colleges because they do not want their exam copies to be sent to other state for evaluation.
Rajendra Rathore, Health Minister said, “583 resident doctors (of PG first year) have been terminated and the state government will approach the Supreme Court to seek permission for new admission against their seats as the admissions to PG first year are conducted under the guideline of the apex court.”
He also added that, “The government will not let the residents affect medical services with their strike which was started without a notice,”
