On the occasion of Teachers Day, the state government of Rajasthan is organizing state-level award ceremony. This event will be held at Amrudon ka Bagh in Jaipur. This event aims at honouring the government school teachers appointed after December 2013. The chief guest of the event is Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. This event will be attended by all government school teachers across Rajasthan. The teachers are supposed to reach at the venue sharp at 10:30 am. They should have a roli ka tika on forehead while entering the venue. To provide proper facilities for teachers, mobile toilets and water pouches are arranged at schools and event venue.
It is for the first time in last four years that the celebration is being held at such a grand scale. It is expected that more than 50000 teachers will be part of this.

On the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan (5th September) Teachers Day is celebrated in India. It is being observed since 1962. He has been a teacher, philosopher author and politician. Teachers day is a way to honour them and say thanks for their contribution in our lives.
