Raje government is in the process of giving the Diwali bonus to the state government employees. However, the election commission will give the green signal to the final decision. If accepted, then the employees may get Diwali bonus even before Dussehra.
As this is the normal exercise of every year, the state government has taken the decision to do so. However, elections have been announced and the model code of conduct is in place.
Therefore, the government has sent the file to election commission for its consent as the government cannot take a policy decision.
The government has been waiting for the green signal from the election department. After the order of issuance, the financial department will issue the bonus. For calculation of bonus, the year 2003 has been considered as the base year.
Diwali bonus will double the joy of celebration
The grant of the Diwali bonus will give benefit to employees, right from class IV level to second-grade teachers. In all, it will benefit about 11 Lakh government employees in the state.
Currently, the model code of conduct is in force and all major decisions related to employees need to get the nod of the election department.
Just a day before the model code of conduct was implemented in the state, the government had announced the increase in dearness allowance to its employees.
The government of Rajasthan has planned this bonus of 2003 criteria. The finance department wants to issue the bonus before Dussehra to double the happiness of the festival.
Unlike the previous government, the Raje government takes care of all the staff personnel. Because CM Vasundhara Raje believes that her team is the sailor of her success ship.
CM Raje always gives the credit to the staff for her good governance. Hence, the Raje government leaves no stone unturned in terms of the government staff’s welfare.
