CM presided over Meena-Meena Jan Sunwai at her residence, attended the Oath Taking Ceremony at Rajasthan Secretariat and Exchanged a few words with the Journalists.
November 23 was a busy day for Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. Her day started with a ‘Jan Sunwai’ at her residences on 13, Civil Lines and ended in a public lunch with journalists, following the oath-taking ceremony at Rajasthan Secretariat. Amidst her busy schedule, the CM spared a few moments to encourage her social media followers, as well. Here’s what the CM did today.
Meena-Meena Dispute Effectively Sorted Out at CMR
Government’s reservation announcements fuelled the Meena-Meena dispute in state. The matter spread like a wildfire when opposition leaders used it for their selfish interest. However, before it could result in a deeper mess, the CM instantly put an end to all allegations and clashes by including both the Meena groups under caste-based ‘Reservation List’. Addressing a ‘Jan Sunwai’ on her Civil Line based Residence today, the CM urged her people to focus on constructive and more significant issues like economy, education and progress.
She assured the masses that Rajasthan government supports all the 36 communities and it will be there to sort out any disputes surfacing among them. With this, she inspired the people to concentrate on state progress and asked them to stay away from anti-social elements that use such incidences to create confusion in times of election.
The meeting was attended by eminent members of both Meena communities, BJP MLAs, ex-MLAs, state board members and Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Affairs Minister Mr. Arun Chaturvedi.
CM Motivated Newly Appointed Officers at the Oath-Taking Ceremony
Chief Secretary O.P. Meena and Shiv Ji Raam Jaat along with other important state officers and bureaucrats were present on the occasion. The day ended with CM exchanging a few words with media officials and journalists. She took selfies with media representatives, as well.
All in all, it was a day well spent on the field.
