The BJP Rajasthan has released its manifesto ahead of assembly elections on December 7. Party named the manifesto as ‘Rajasthan Gaurav Sankalp Patra’ this time. The ‘Rajasthan Gaurav Sankal Patra’ is well planned and as attractive as the previous one. Central Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and CM Vasundhara Raje jointly released the manifesto in a conference held at BJP office in Jaipur.

Kisaan (Farmers) and Rozgaar (employment) are kept on the first place for Rajasthan BJP’s future plan. The Manifesto offers welfare plans and schemes to continue the development process which has been going on since last five years in the state. Further, infrastructure development and health sector are also kept in focus by the saffron party.

Rajasthan BJP: Keeping up with the farmers

India is an agrarian country so the state Rajasthan. Keeping this in mind, Rajasthan BJP wants to double the income of the farmers. Here is what they have mentioned in Rajasthan BJP’s manifesto :

  • BJP Rajasthan will make the process of procurement of agriculture products more transparent and secure to give one and a half time more Minimum Support Price (MSP).
  • To establish an agriculture-based Rural Start-up fund BJP will spend Rs. 250Cr, which will help in doubling the income of farmers.
  • To broaden the co-operative agricultural loans, BJP government will launch a mission to distribute loans worth Rs. 1 Lakh Crore in 5 years.
  • Every division will have a Loan Relief Commission to resolve the issues related to debts.
  • Completion of Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) and DPR for Yamuna River will be a priority for the BJP government. It will provide water to the 26 dams in eastern Rajasthan. More than 80,000 hectare land will get water for the crop irrigation.
  • 6060Cr plan to bring the water to the Jawai dam from Sabarmati basin (181 MCM).

Revolutionary plans to up-skill the youth and employment

  • For the first time in Rajasthan, the government will establish training centers on the sub-divisional level. The job seekers in the Indian Army will get training from 3 months prior to the exams.
  • To support and motivate the job seekers and unemployed, older than 21 years, the government will provide Unemployment allowance up to Rs 5000.
  • 30 thousand government jobs and 50 lakh employment opportunities in self and private sectors every year will be the best efforts by the government.
  • Like NREGA, Urban employment guaranty act will be made.

Reinforcement of the Infrastructure

  • ‘Rajasthan Mala’- the new 4-Lane highway projects. All villages more than 250 population will get connected with roads.
  • 2/3 of the population of the state is getting benefits from Bhamashah Scheme. Universal Health Insurance will be a revolutionary step, which will double the Bhamashah benefits.
  • Every Gram Panchayat will get 108 ambulance services.
  • High Power Committee to ensure and reinforce the term- Universal Basic Income.
  • Happiness Index parameter will be used to measure the implementation and effectiveness of Schemes and plans by the government.
