In the recent communique, it is reportedly said that, Rahul Shivshankar will be placed in the place of Arnab Goswami as the new chief editor of Times Now. Presently, Rahul Shivshankar is editor in chief of News X. Arnab Goswami, who was the representing face of the channel and was specially known for its show, The Newshour, which brought all the main scoops for a considerably long time. Recently, Arnab Goswami resigned from the channel after serving it for a decade.

Shivshankar, who soon is going to join the channel has assisted Goswami earlier, and was also present at the time of launch of Times Now around a decade back. At the very start of this month, the shocking news of resign of Mr. Arnab, Editor-in-chief of Times Now came out. After that, the very recent news is that, Mr. Shivshankar will be joining the channel from December 15.

Shivshankar holds a good experience of 20 years in the field of journalism. Also, he has worked with a number of media houses which includes Headlines Today, India Today and NewsX.

If we talk about Arnab’s successful career history, he got special limelight for his daily running debate show named, “Frankly speaking with Arnab”.  He resigned from his position on November 1st, 2016 and mentioned in his comments that, this is not the end of his journey, in fact this is just a beginning and something fresh will be coming soon.

Arnab Goswami is a familiar face of journalism and is a University of Oxford and University of Delhi alumnus. The resign news of Arnab had left his fans disheartened and in shock, but he assured that, he will be coming up with very interesting and new in the coming days.
