The Prime Minister was in the state today for the second time in the duration of one week. PM Narendra Modi addressed a sea of people in Kayad Maidaan of Ajmer on Saturday. PM Modi’s rally marked the completion of Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s state whirl ‘Gaurav Yatra’ that began in August. Modi slammed the Congress for playing ‘Vote-bank politics’ by dividing the nation in the name of religion and caste.
PM Modi received an overwhelming response when he came on the podium to address a sea of people. The mass was showing their joy of seeing their beloved Prime minister by chanting ‘Modi…Modi’. Overwhelmed PM smiled and named the mass ‘Vishal Jan Sagar’ (A sea of the People).
Modi thanked the people for showing their patience and enthusiasm and said, ‘You have written the destiny of BJP in the state.‘ PM Modi said, ‘Sab log athe itri ghani sankhya me padharya, o dekh mharo khoob jeev soro hogya. Tha sagla ne mharo ghano-ghano naman.’
BJP works for ‘Sarva Jan Hitaay, Sarva Jan Sukhaay’
PM launched a scathing attack on the Congress while reflecting on the culture of vote-bank politics espoused by the Congress for several decades. PM said that the grand old party always believed in dividing the nation in the name of religion, caste, gender etc. But the Bharatiya Janata Party works for ‘Sarva Jan Hitaay, Sarv Jan Sukhaay’.
Minutes before PM’s speech, CM Raje said that the Congress party stayed silent and anonymous for 4.5 years they only come out just before the elections. On this, PM launched another attack of Congress, said, ‘This is not new Vasundhara Ji, they do this in every state assembly of the country. PM added further, ‘They do not give any contribution to Vidhan Sabhas and Lok Sabhas.’
Thereafter, The prime minister urged the sea of people to choose ‘Saabka saath, saabka vikaas’ over ‘vote bank ki politics’. He asked people that if they want a government who has only stuffed their own pockets with the public’s money. He urged the people to not let the ‘vote bank ki politics’ win in any state of the country.
‘Gaurav Yatra is a pilgrimage by CM Raje’
PM Modi said that CM Raje did a pilgrimage of 7.5 Crore deities (People of Rajasthan) and It’s my luck to welcome the pilgrim after the journey. PM said that It takes guts to go among the people to convey the work achievements, which CM Vasundhara Raje does. ‘It is easy to be in the opposition and rally among the people and condemn the ruling party but it CM Raje went among people to show her report card.’
PM Modi praised CM Raje for her efforts and work to develop Rajasthan. The prime minister thanked CM Raje for the successful application of his schemes and plans in the state. In addition, PM admired CM’s efforts to bring the water into the state and slammed Congress for not conducting any needed canal projects after the Indira Gandhi Canal.
