National Agenda Forum

National Agenda Forum (NAF), launched by Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC), is a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary year on 29th June 2018. NAF is a pan-India initiative to resurrect the conversation around Gandhiji’s 18-point Constructive Programme to re-imagine and co-create India’s priorities to formulate an actionable agenda for contemporary India.

Within 30 days of its launch, 28,901 youth associates from 4,219 colleges, 142 distinguished personalities from 6 countries and 20 states, and 206 civil society organizations spread across 346 districts have joined the ever-growing NAF ecosystem. Over the next couple of weeks, I-PAC plans to reach out to students in 750 colleges and 320 civil society organizations across 21 states, during our field visits.

It has 4 key actions:

• Sharing the vision of Gandhiji’s 18-point Constructive Program
• Formulating an actionable agenda for contemporary India
• Nominating the leader best suited to execute the agenda
• Campaigning for the chosen leader to get him selected in 2019 General Elections

National Agenda Forum Milestones:

• 11th July 2018: The starting date for voting
• 15th August 2018: voting results to be declared
• September 2018 to October 2018: meetings to be conducted with the leaders
• October 2018 to January 2019: the agenda will be taken to the nation
• January 2019 to February 2019: the agenda will be adopted as part of the official manifesto of the party.

About I-PAC

Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) is the platform for students and young professionals to participate in and make a meaningful contribution to political affairs and governance of the country, without necessarily being part of a political party. It is defined as “India’s first Political Action Committee”.
