Monsoon continues, reaches parts of western Rajasthan

The farmers and the resident of the largest state of the country Rajasthan must be happy after hearing the news of monsoon. Latest reports say that after monsoon has finally approached Kerala, it is supposed to hit the state of Rajasthan by the last week of June. Jaipur Met office said that though monsoon hit on June 19 last year but was not so effective. Rather monsoon this year will be far better than the last year’s. A Jaipur Met official said, “From June 15 onwards, rainfall will be witnessed in regular intervals in various parts of the state including southern Rajasthan”

“This would be the time when humidity levels will go up by almost 80% to 90% and scattered rainfall in southern Rajasthan will be witnessed,” said an IMD official.
