On the occasion of International Women’s Day, PM Modi was in Rajasthan. He was there to address the rally. At the rally in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, PM Modi expanded Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign at national level. He had also launched National Nutrition Mission there. At this rally, he quoted an impressive abbreviation. He began to call Poshan Mission- PM. This rally was attended by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and several other leaders.
Further talking about this mission, he stated that my critics can criticize me as much as they want. But, from now on, PM means Poshan Mission not Prime Minister. This mission will help to overcome the issue of malnutrition to a great extent.
At this rally, there was discussion on situation of nutrition in country. It is sad to see the mortality rate of girl child. In his speech, PM focused on respecting women and treating them equally. Awareness should be spread regarding the birth of daughters. He also said that women are important to run the country. They bring glory to India.
PM’s visit is special to CM Raje
As 8th March is also birthday of CM Raje so she had considered the visit of PM to Rajasthan very special. She was extremely elated as PM had chosen Rajasthan to launch two significant programs.
