Due to Indian Railways project ‘Swarna’, Jaipur-Agra Shatabdi Express coaches will be equipped with new features in 2018. Now, the coaches will have features like automatic odour control (AOC) system and disposable head rest cover for passenger seats etc. Even the new coaches of Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains will be given CCTV surveillance system.
Talking about New Delhi-Jaipur-Agra i.e. Golden triangle is an important tourism circuit in the country. The tourists around the world come to visit rich cultural heritage of this region.
The passengers travelling from Jaipur to Agra enjoy more comfort in year 2018. There is also Braille signage in the coaches by the Indian Railways. This will make travel easy for visually impaired people. In terms of better management, there will be Aadhaar enabled biometric attendance system for the safety of staff. To make coaches look attractive, paintings exhibiting culture and heritage of the region will be displayed.
In fact, the Indian Railways is planning to roll out same features in other trains too, especially those running in tourist circuits.
With an aim to offer better experience to travelers of Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains, Indian Railways has decided to upgrade its trains under ‘Project Swarna’. Under this project, 14 Rajdhani and 15 Shatabdi will get improved passenger amenities, aesthetics, staff’s behaviour and hygiene standards.
