Monsoon is quite generous in Rajasthan this year and is raining heavily all over the area. But some of the areas are witnessing incessant rainfall and thus a flood like the situation has arisen in those parts. This has hampered the normal life to a great extent. Bhilwara and Chittorgarh districts of Rajasthan are facing flood like circumstance and thus, people are shifted to safer places due to continuous heavy rainfall. The various villages and towns of these districts are disconnected from the main city headquarters. Rains have swollen up the rivers of the nearby areas and thus, hampering the road transportation as well.
The Chittorgarh district is marking continuous heavy rainfall since Monday morning. Thus, the District Administration has with the help of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams are working together for the relief and rescue operations of the adversely affected areas. Rivers like Menal and Brahmani are overflowing because of heavy rainfall and thus everyday life in the nearby regions like Kota, Bundi and Bhilwara have come to a pause.
The Bhilwara Collector Tina Kumar said that district administration teams have been deployed to provide relief to the affected areas. Also, the administration has set up temporary homes for those who have to be shifted from the low-level areas.
Ravi Kumar Surpur, Kota Collector, has directed his officials and his entire team to remain alerted in this situation, take the proper precautionary measures and help everyone who is in need. The Kota administration has sent an alert in the downstream areas of the river to warn the people about the scenario.
