Latest Reports suggest that the Jaipur Municipal Corporation and Health Department will come together to fight against the seasonal diseases. In a recent meeting, Chief Secretary DB Gupta asked the officials of Jaipur Municipal Corporation and health department to make a joint plan so as to counter the seasonal diseases much like Kota is doing.
Additional Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary of various departments attended the meeting. As per the JMC Commissioner Ravi Jain, the department is going to conduct joint inspections to find out roads and houses with stagnant water and anti-larval activities will also be carried out.
Apart from this, the public will be taught as to how they can keep the seasonal diseases away by keeping the coolers clean and throw away dirty waters from bird pots so as to stop the mosquitoes from breeding.

Besides, the Additional Director, Rural Health, Dr. Ravi Mathur said that the health department will carry out fogging operations in and around 50 houses detected with Malaria and Dengue cases, while the JMC will take care of the fogging operations in the city areas. Furthermore, the JMC would clean the drains and would ensure that the water logging is prevented in slums and all roads.
Taking about Kota, the city made a one-year long plan in which the work was divided among health department, Urban Improvement Trust, Kota Municipal Corporation, and district administration. The action plan has been so successful that the city had just 5 cases of dengue in July as opposed to 61 cases registered in July 2017.
