Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet i.e. GRAM Udaipur 2017 starting from today is being organized at Maharana Pratap University Of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur, Rajasthan. The event is of three days which will continue till 9th November 2017. The event will be inaugurated by CM Vasundhara Raje. According to sources, the budget of GRAM Udaipur event is approx. Rs 17 to Rs 20 crore.
With the aim to aware the farmers of the Udaipur Division to the latest upcoming agriculture practices & Technologies, this new meet of Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet at Udaipur is planned. In this meeting, all the stakeholders, farmers, academicians, technologists, agribusiness companies and policy makers from Udaipur will participate. It is estimated that 24,000 farmers would participate in the programme. Women are also excitedly participating in the event.
At the press conference of Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet Udaipur 2017, agriculture minister Prabhulal Saini shared that national and international agriculture experts and businessmen would also participate in the three-day event. In the event, representatives from countries like Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Russia and Vietnam will come. For MoU, the state government has received several proposals but the government of Rajasthan has chosen the one which has realistic chance of execution.
The expectations of people are high due to success of previous event held in Jaipur. The people who have gathered for the event are eagerly waiting for the launch.
GRAM Jaipur
GRAM meet was earlier organized at Jaipur which was successful. After this, Chief Minister of the state Vasundhara Raje had announced that GRAM would be held in every divisional headquarter.
